OSUN Graduate Mobility provides educational  opportunities to further studies or research related to OSUN themes at another OSUN institution. This is a tuition exchange program where eligible students pay their regular tuition at their home institution.  Scholarships are available via the application process and are awarded based on both need and merit.

For more information on the disciplines offered at respective institutions, please refer to this page and to individual institutions’ websites. MBA programs are excluded from this mobility scheme.

  • Research Eligibility
    The OSUN Graduate Research Mobility Program can help fund research projects that are carried out as part of a Master’s or PhD program. Graduate students (Masters and Doctoral level) enrolled at any of the OSUN member institutions are eligible to apply. To help cover the cost of travel and visa expenses, mandatory insurance, accommodations and living stipend for the duration of the research visit (30-120 days), a combination of merit- and need-based scholarships that range from 500 to 6,000 USD are available. Students are required to submit a detailed budget proposal as part of their application.  
     
    The destination of the research mobility can be any OSUN member institution, with clear identification of the resources at the institution, including academic materials, faculty experts, and/or community partners relevant to the subject of research being conducted.

    The current pilot phase is open to graduate students (Masters and Doctoral level) enrolled at the following OSUN partner institutions:

    American University of Central Asia, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan  
    Bard College, New York, US  
    BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh  
    Central European University, Vienna, Austria 
    European Humanities University, Vilnius, Lithuania
    National Sun Yat-Sen University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan (accepting students from Fall 23, sending students as of Spring 24)
    Tuskegee University, Tuskegee, US
    Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, Colombia 
    University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa

    Successful applicants will receive a tuition waiver at their host institution and will continue to pay tuition at their home institution. A combination of merit- and need-based scholarships are available to eligible students.

Scholarships

Applicants can receive a full or partial scholarship to help cover travel and visa expenses, mandatory insurance, accommodations, and living stipend for the duration of the study mobility. For more information on the maximum scholarship levels available per site please see here.
