The Professional Development Program for University Administrators has three goals: to strengthen the administrative capacity of OSUN partner institutions by enhancing staff's professional knowledge and preparedness; to enhance intra-network cooperation through mutual learning about colleagues and conditions at partner institutions; to offer courses that articulate and reinforce OSUN values and foster a mutual understanding of shared principles

Topic-Focused Courses

The program offers up-to-date knowledge on trends and current developments in higher education and courses on topics relevant for the overall functioning of higher education institutions. Courses on community engagement, crisis management, mobilities management, education technology, access, and equity in human resources practices bring together faculty and practitioners to reflect on policy and practices at OSUN institutions and beyond. All courses strive to provide concrete opportunities for participants to apply the knowledge and skills they are gaining in the contexts of their own roles and institutions.

To date, 80 participants from 14 institutions have participated in the projects’ innovative courses during the program's pilot year:

Strategic and Inclusive Management of Higher Education Institutions
