With a strong emphasis on student-centered learning, critical literacy, and liberal arts and sciences education, OSUN creates diverse global classrooms of students who learn from each other and collectively develop a culture of dialogue and debate. The integration of teaching and learning across OSUN partner institutions features joint accreditations and mutual recognition of course credits.

CONNECTED AND BLENDED LEARNING TOOLKIT

Placing Liberal Arts Pedagogies Front and Center

The OSUN Connected and Blended Learning Toolkit, developed by the Center for Liberal Arts and Sciences Pedagogy (CLASP) at Bard College, in collaboration with the Center for Learning in Practice (CLiP) at the Carey Institute for Global Good, is a living document that is open and accessible to faculty across the network, offering support for connected and blended course development.

OSUN Addresses its Educational Objectives through:

  • Teaching
OSUN institutions provide a rigorous education grounded in critical thinking and open intellectual inquiry.
  • Curricula
Integrated curricula bind OSUN institutions together, facilitate mobility across the network, and immerse students in different perspectives.
  • Threatened Scholars Integration Initiative
TSI integrates into OSUN institutions scholars forced to seek alternative teaching, research, or advanced study positions due to threats in their home countries.
