CHALLENGING STUDENTS TO EXAMINE THE IDEAS AND PRACTICES OF BEING A GLOBAL CITIZEN IN THE 21ST CENTURY
OSUN Network Collaborative Courses (NCCs) are co-designed and taught simultaneously across partner institutions. Students enroll in and receive credit for these courses at their own institution. The courses may differ by institution but share key assignments, bringing students together online for class discussions and collaborations.
NCCs aim to strengthen a set of learning objectives among participating students, including:
1.
Global Learning
(understanding of global systems and how diverse perspectives impact the framing of global and local issues)
2.
Intercultural Competence
(curiosity and open-minded consideration of others’ ideas and increased ability to embrace cultural diversity)
3.
Teamwork
(the ability to synthesize and build on others’ contributions; the development of skills and mindset required for effective collaboration)
Consult with
The OSUN Connected and Blended Learning Toolkit
for support with developing a Network Collaborative Course.
