The Get Engaged Alumni Initiative aims to meet the growing needs of young agents of change so they can acquire the skills they need to bridge societal gaps through civic engagement initiatives. Frequently the initiative touches upon themes of youth leadership, intersectionality, and human rights.
The extensive experiences of Get Engaged alumni, including their post-conference professional pursuits, offer current student leaders the opportunity to merge theory with practice so they can lead by example and foster lifelong learning, cross-cultural knowledge sharing, and long-term professional relationships. This initiative speaks to the power of Get Engaged and its ongoing power to catalyze communities and partnerships that transcend national boundaries.
The Get Engaged Alumni Speaker Series
The Get Engaged Alumni Initiative workshop series offers alumni and current student leaders an opportunity to expand their skills and knowledge concerning a diverse range of personal and professional growth topics.
