Still Human
The struggles of modern life, gross inequalities, and injustice have all contributed to the problem of drug abuse in New York. Socioeconomic pressures have exacerbated mental health issues and fueled addiction. Addiction, like many other mental health problems, is treatable. However, the stigma linked to addiction is an unfair perception that has detrimental effects. This video makes that case that a person dealing with addiction is no less of a human.
