OSUN's Video Collection, developed by faculty and students throughout the network, is comprised of three sub-collections of videos: Case Studies, Course Collection, and Student-Produced Videos. Case Studies are videos developed collaboratively by OSUN faculty and students to address local and global human rights and social justice issues. Course Collection features short video lectures that explore subjects including political movements, democracy building, storytelling, and more. Student-Produced Videos have all been developed in the Visual Storytelling for Civic Engagement course. The videos cover issues related to human rights, social justice, inequalities, climate change, and sustainability. These materials are freely available for use in the classroom.
Case Studies, Course Collection, and Student-Produced Videos are effective tools for online learning, providing students with a “real world” connection that facilitates meaningful class discussion across campuses. All materials are freely available for professors and institutions beyond OSUN, and we encourage their use in the classroom.
