Quality Assurance in Higher Education: A Course for University Administrators
Applications are open for the online course "Quality Assurance in Higher Education," designed specifically for university administrators and managers in the OSUN network and part of the OSUN Certificate in Higher Education Management and Administration. This course aims to offer university administrators solid knowledge on quality assurance (QA) standards and best practices, with the goal of helping participants perform better in their jobs and contribute to quality enhancement at their institutions. It focuses in particular on the role non-faculty actors (QA managers, administrators, students, and external stakeholders) play in ensuring the quality of university education.
By the end of the course, participants will become familiar with good practices of QA and enhancement at the university level and will be able to reflect critically on the QA system in place at their own institutions.
Course dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays, for 2 hours, during November
The course is offered free of charge for faculty and staff throughout OSUN.
