Call for Papers: Second Annual Elkana Teaching Symposium
The Developing Teaching Professionals project at CEU invites interested applicants from participating OSUN institutions to submit proposals for the Second Annual Elkana Symposium on Reimagining Teaching and Learning (Vienna, June 18, 19, and 20). We solicit presenters for panels on inclusive and democratic teaching, alternative assessment, interdisciplinary approaches to large-scale problems, civic, social, and community engagement, and more.This year’s conference features keynotes, panels, and training around the following conference theme of teaching in turbulent times:
- Strategies for democratic and inclusive teaching
- Emerging technologies in teaching and assessment: generative AI and alternative and ‘authentic’ forms of assessment
- Fostering civic and social engagement through education
Already confirmed keynote speakers include:

Dominic Regester, Corinna Nawatzky, and Valeria Chernysh (Salzburg Global Center for Education Transformation)
