Faculty Mobility
Call for Applications: Visiting Faculty for the American University of Afghanistan
OSUN invites applications from qualified faculty to teach intensive courses on English for Academic Purposes to the students of the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF).
Qualifications: At least a Master in teaching English as a secondary language, or equivalent. Experience of teaching to high school-level students will be an advantage.
Teaching time, duration and method: The program will start in November 2023. Each course is taught entirely online for five days a week for one month. Each day the faculty will spend two hours teaching and are required to have two hours a week for office hours. The teaching schedule will be negotiable.
Compensation: The payment will be as per AUAF's pay scale. Faculty with a Master’s degree will receive $4,200 per course and those with a PhD will be paid $4,500 per course.
