Climate change impacts are accelerating, and for many people, the past year has been a climate nightmare of flooding, fire, and record-shattering temperatures. And yet, we still have both the time and the tools to change the future. The work that we all do together over the next year, five years, ten years, will profoundly shape the world to come. In 2022, help us engage half a million students, with their teachers, in serious dialog about what we can and must do to stabilize the climate.
Intern teams will design, deliver, and evaluate a social media campaign in support of The WorldWide Teach-In on Climate and Justice. Guest speakers and discussions will focus on the theory and practice of using social media to engage audiences in climate action. Interns who complete the program will receive a certificate, and can request letters of recommendation from Dr. Eban Goodstein, Director of the Bard Graduate Programs in Sustainability, which is the organization sponsoring the internship.
