Call for Applications: OSUN "Work-Away" Staff Mobility Program
Deadline Expired on October 13, 2023
OSUN has launched its "Work-Away" Staff Mobility pilot program and invites applications from university staff to spend up to one month embedded at a partner institution to learn about its administrative processes and contribute to cross-institutional integration. OSUN Work-Away aims to promote collaboration among staff across partner institutions and advance deeper integration across OSUN. It provides opportunities for administrative and academic support staff, particularly mid-level staff at under-resourced OSUN institutions, to learn from partners who are strong in administrative areas critical to OSUN integration and to build lasting partnerships across institutions.
The selection committee, with representatives from several OSUN institutions, will review applications and notify applicants in November 2023. Final decisions will be contingent upon approval of the host institution. Applicants should plan to conduct their work-away between January and July 2024.
Staff members have to agree with their direct supervisor on the workload and tasks they will perform for their home institutions during their time on OSUN Work-Away. They will need to devote at least half of their time while away to work for the host institution.

In addition, if living expenses are significantly higher at the host institution than your home institution, OSUN will provide a salary supplement to cover the difference between your salary and the salary for an equivalent position at the host institution for the period of your stay. The amount paid for accommodation and for any salary supplement will depend on the location and will be determined by OSUN in close consultation with the host institution.
