"Voices Rising": New Podcast Lets Students Sound Off on Global Issues and College Life

"Civic Engagement Voices Rising" is a new podcast produced by a group of OSUN student Global Engagement Fellows presenting fresh insights on the fields of student civic engagement and volunteerism. The first three episodes, by Dareen Alhajaref (Al Quds Bard College), Juan Andrés (Universidad de los Andes), Oybek Turaev (American University of Central Asia), and Judah Firestone-Morril (Bard Early Colleges) provide provocative commentary on a range of issues from a truly global mix of individuals working at the frontlines of community engagement.

Listen to Civic Engagement Voices Rising.

Listen in as students from Colombia, Kyrgyzstan, Palestine and beyond talk about their personal experiences "in the community" tackling contentious topics, such the stigmatization of artificial intelligence and women’s leadership in more traditional societies. Subscribe so you can hear the exciting new episodes that are coming down the pike and striking the balance between social activism and the joy of college life. Get ready to be informed, inspired, and entertained!
