OSUN is proud to share its 2021/2022 Annual Report! During the 2021/2022 academic year, OSUN continued to demonstrate that the power of a strong international network lies in its members’ shared values and its highly adaptable and integrated partnership model.

As Sabina Rashid, Professor and Dean, James P. Grant School of Public Health at BRAC University, an OSUN partner institution, has said, “I think knowledge is multi-directional. It’s from many different actors and academics. Co-developing curriculum sends a very strong message from OSUN that this is not something we learn from but something we’re learning together.”

As the Annual Report shows, these shared qualities allowed OSUN to respond swiftly to urgent crises around the globe, displaying resilience in the face of emergencies in Myanmar, Afghanistan, and Ukraine. It also enabled OSUN to address global challenges around climate change, public health, economic inequality, and threats to academic freedom.

The Annual Report provides updates on the unique higher education ecosystem that OSUN is building, including a growing roster of courses serving 7,000+ students since inception. It shares details on OSUN’s advances in expanding access to higher learning in places such as Kenya, Sudan, Bangladesh, Palestine, Jordan, and Kyrgyzstan, and in college-in-prison programs across the globe. It also details the strong transnational network OSUN is building to foster civically engaged universities among its 45 partner institutions.

Click below and page through the report to learn more about OSUN, its impacts, and its proven ability to accomplish more collectively than member institutions might on their own. The OSUN community takes pride in its progress over the past year and looks forward to a bright future.
