It Takes a Higher Ed Network: OSUN's Mosaic of Efforts Supports Students in Crisis Worldwide

As rising authoritarianism threatens democracies and liberal education worldwide, “Networks such as OSUN have proved invaluable in uncertain times,” writes OSUN Vice Chancellor Jonathan Becker in Liberal Education.

The resilient responses to crises in Myanmar, Afghanistan, and Ukraine that OSUN and partners have provided succeed because they dynamically address ever-shifting circumstances and needs in each situation. This work demonstrates that a strong international network of higher education institutions with shared values can be effective civic actors, particularly in issues connected to education.
