Christina Anastas 

Christina is a genetics student from Bethlehem, Palestine studying at Al-Quds Bard College in East Jerusalem. She is also a trombonist with a diploma from the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music. Christina is a member of the Palestine National Orchestra and the Palestine Youth Orchestra, which have performed in many renowned places around the world, including the Dubai Opera and the Royal Concertgebouw. Passionate about implementing change in the world, Christina founded “Melodies For Palestine”, an initiative dedicated to empowering Palestinian children to overcome the trauma and violence they endure by using music to resist, express their pain, and build resilience.
