Jordan Ayala
Bard CollegeJordan Ayala is an applied researcher working across the disciplines of economics, planning, and geography. He is a research scholar with the Open Society University Network (OSUN) Economic Democracy Initiative, where he leads the initiative’s community and civic engagement activities and curricular development. He is a Chicano and Kansas Citian with roots in the historic Westside of Kansas City, Missouri, and Mexican railroad workers in Kansas. He conducts applied research using quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, community-based research methods, and spatial analysis through the lens of stratification economics.
