Will Buckingham

Parami University

Dr Will Buckingham is a writer and philosopher from the UK, and on the permanent faculty at Parami University. He is based in Tainan, Taiwan. He has previously been Associate Professor of Writing and Creativity at De Montfort University (Leicester, UK), and Visiting Associate Professor at Sichuan University, China, in the College of Literature and Journalism. Will's books include Hello, Stranger (Granta 2022), Stealing With the Eyes (Haus 2018), and Levinas, Storytelling and Anti-Storytelling (Bloomsbury 2015). He also contributed to the global bestseller, The Philosophy Book (DK 2015). His books have been translated into multiple languages, including German, French, Chinese, Korean, Afrikaans, Polish, Bulgarian, and Persian. Will co-directs Wind&Bones CIC, a social enterprise dedicated to writing, creativity and social change. With Wind&Bones, Will co-developed a course with Mote Oo, Myanmar, on ethical leadership for community groups and civil society organisations.
