Medet Tiulegenov

American University of Central Asia

Medet has more than 25 years of practical and academic experience having working in the nonprofit sector and in the academic institutions. Most recently he worked as an Assistant Professor at the American University of Central Asia. Until then he had worked at Soros Foundation in Kyrgyzstan, including several years being its director, and prior to that he was a research fellow at the National Academy of Sciences and Kyrgyz National University. His research and teaching interests included contentious politics, political participation and civil society identity and normative politics.
