Kseniya Shtalenkova

European Humanities University

Kseniya Shtalenkova is a writer and scholar from Minsk, Belarus. Kseniya is a lecturer in the Academic Department of Humanities and Arts and OSUN Science Shop manager at European Humanities University. Kseniya holds a PhD in philosophy, focusing her research on invisible money within the framework of the transformations of symbolic exchange practices in the digital era. Kseniya also published the monograph Money and Ideology: A Hundred Years’ [R]evolution of Belarusian-ness in 2018. Formerly a member of the Union of Belarusian Writers closed out by state authorities in 2021, Kseniya is the author of two books of fiction for young adults. From 2019, Kseniya also works as a playwright affiliated with the Belarusian Drama Centre. Her site-specific projects “Memoria Nominis Clara” and “Extermination”, dedicated to the Holocaust trauma, were awarded at international contests and festivals, including Badenweiler Drama Contest (2022) and TeART International Theatre Forum (2020).
