Kamila Mateeva

American University of Central Asia

Kamila Mateeva is an Associate Professor and the Head of Law Division at the American University of Central Asia in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic. She has an LL.M. degree from Indiana University of School of Law at Indianapolis, Indiana, USA and a Ph.D. degree from Kyrgyz National Academy, Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, Kyrgyzstan. She has been a fellow as part of PILI institute fellowship for the Columbia University School of Law (2008). She teaches courses such as Theory of Law, Philosophy of Law, Public International Law and the UN System, and Legal Research Methods. Kamila Mateeva is a member of the International Advisory Board for the Human Rights Practice Program at the University of Arizona and a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the International Court of the CIS organization.
