Hector Hernandez

Universidad de los Andes

Hector graduated in 1990 with a BS in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Javeriana, in Bogota Colombia and a Master's degree in Public Policy (MPP) from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. His career has been a combination of public sector innovation, market research and consulting, social development and leadership. Since 2015 his main purpose has been to build learning communities around leadership undergraduate, graduate, and extension courses at the School of Government at Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia. He coaches, trains, and consults individuals and teams from the public and private sectors in leadership development. He is a member of the Adaptive Leadership Network. He is a certified coach and a Lego® Serious Play® facilitator. Since 2011 he has been involved in community initiatives in Bogota where he lives with his wife and two kids.
