The course teaches students to transform data into compelling, culturally responsive narratives. It emphasizes global learning by exploring how cultural, social, economic factors influence the framing of both local and global issues. Students develop statistical skills, intercultural competence, teamwork, learning to synthesize ideas and collaborate effectively. Topics include statistics, probability, data visualization, with a focus on ethical storytelling and its impact on diverse communities.
