Making sense of scientific information has become part of daily life. News media report scientific details that require interpretation, while scientists seek to convey insights to the public and policymakers. Students examine social and scientific issues, learn to craft science stories and podcasts in collaboration with scientists, journalists and artists, develop mini-research projects, and engage in teamwork exercises.
