The genocide of the Roma (Gypsies) during the Holocaust, or Porrajmos as the Nazi genocide is referred to in Romani language, remains a relatively unknown fact. This course offers an opportunity for students to learn about the Romani persecution and genocide through the lens of survivor testimonies and narratives, writings of post-war generations of Roma writers, and fictional and documentary films.
