Algorithmic fairness is a field that primarily discovers causes of bias in algorithms through measurements of fairness. This interdisciplinary course examines broader intersections between the rapid developments of artificial intelligence in diverse areas of societal life and its implications for fundamental human rights. Exploring ethical dimensions in relation to AI equips students with a critical framework for addressing the complexities of AI development and its use.
