This course examines the intersection between Justice and Cinema in seminal international fiction and non-fiction films. Students critically engage with the historical (and current) role of film in representing the court, and with representations of 'right versus wrong'. Through analysis and class debates, readings in film theory and sociology, the intrinsic link between perceptions of justice and injustice, and movies is revealed.
