This course provides an opportunity for students to develop a solid understanding of basic theories and analytical methods in Geographic Information Science. Students are also expected to strengthen their GIS skills through handson labs, exercises, and course projects. Putting these two aspects together, students measure their accomplishments in terms of an overall growth and maturity in modeling/analytical skills and problem-solving abilities using GIS.
