Introduction to Islamic Finance

This course surveys the Islamic laws governing interest and commerce and introduces modern Islamic financial and banking instruments. Students make use of real cases and related current events, as well as comparative examples from different Muslim countries to enhance the learning experience. Guest lecturers working in the field of Islamic Finance will share their experiences, challenges, and successes working in this arena.
