The Bard Center for the Study of Hate invites the OSUN community to a webinar with Pulitzer Prize-winning author David Kertzer in conversation with John Pawlikoski, about Kertzer’s new book The Pope At War: The Secret History of Pius XII, Mussolini, and Hitler, based on newly available Vatican archives.

Kertzer's research into the Vatican and World War II has also produced The Pope and Mussolini: The Secret History of Pius XII and the Rise of Fascism in Europe (Random House, 2014) which won the Pulitzer Prize for biography. Kertzer will be in discussion with John Pawlikowski, Professor Emeritus of Social Ethics at Catholic Theological Union.
