Digital Collection

OSUN's Digital Collection, developed by faculty and students throughout the network, is comprised of two sub-collections of videos: Digital Case Studies and Student-Produced Videos. Digital Case Studies are videos developed collaboratively by OSUN faculty and students to address local and global human rights and social justice issues. Student-Produced Videos have all been developed in the Visual Storytelling for Civic Engagement course. The videos cover issues related to human rights, social justice, inequalities, climate change, and sustainability. These materials are freely available for use in the classroom.

Digital Case Studies and Student-Produced Videos are effective tools for online learning, providing students with a “real world” connection that facilitates meaningful class discussion across campuses. All materials are freely available for professors and institutions beyond OSUN, and we encourage their use in the classroom.

Digital Collection

  • Digital Case Studies
Digital Case Studies are video and written case studies created by faculty and students throughout the network.
  • Student-Produced Videos
The documentaries in this collection were created by students enrolled in the Visual Storytelling for Civic Engagement course.
  • The Struggle for Voting Rights at Colleges
Lectures in this series examine the history of disenfranchisement and the fight for voting rights in the United States, as well as the role of college communities in that process.
