OLIve (Open Learning Initiative)

Central European University's Open Learning Initiative (OLIve) program provides undergraduate and graduate preparation programs for refugees in Budapest, Vienna, Berlin, and London, in partnership with Bard College Berlin and University of East London. The project supports building effective and durable programs to enable the entry of refugees into higher education and foster their social inclusion. OLIve utilizes well-honed pedagogic practice based on adapting critical pedagogies to the circumstances of structurally marginalized populations.
